Parent Teacher Association
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a thriving part of the school and exists to assist the home - school partnership. Assistance is given with school functions such as productions, concerts and sports events, but the PTA also organise a number of events.
Money raised be the PTA is spent on a wide variety of things. In the past few years the PTA has provided funds for PE equipment, audio equipment, new football and athletics kit, new musical instruments, new playground markings and games, climbing frames and an artist in residence.
All parents of the children attending the school are automatically members of the PTA and may propose and elect members of the PTA Committee at the Annual General Meeting, held early in the Autumn Term. The PTA normally meets once every half term at 7 pm on a weekday evening. The PTA is a registered charity.
